Here are some more pictures taken in the plaza de Los Angeles in Heredia. I found out this fort was build in about 1500, so it´s pretty old. There are some interesting customs here. For example, during refresco in the middle of the afternoon it is the custom to drink a glass, about 10 oz of juice, but one must sip it slowly, make it last at least 15 minutes. Never gulp your liquids, that`s kind a rude. Also, although there are flush toilets, one must never flush one´s toilet paper. The system can´t handle it. So use a recepticle near the john for that express purpose. Felt a little strange at first, but now it´s a breeze, albeit not exactly a sweet breeze! Love to all. Mimi
