The first pic is a statue in front of the fort that you see below. I couldn't find anyone who knew the signifcance of the man pulling a child out of a box by his head. Somewhere over the past 300 years that information was lost.

The group shot is of the students who went on the walking tour. And we found the toucan in a shop that sold souvenirs. Felt sorry for the fellow.
