
This was a mini festival celebrating the annexation of Guanacaste. It was held at the rancho behind the escuala and it was quite fun. The lady above was selling clothes with pictures painted on them.

These items were made by a group of women who formed a cooperative. Many interesting things. Above are painted notebooks, notecards, etc. The lady below made items from newspapers.

This lady was selling dried fruits and banana chips. Everything they were selling was caro (expensive) but I did buy banana chips. They were barato (cheap) and very tasty!
