Chasing the Dream

It has always been my dream to become fluent in Spanish. Since I've been gainfully unemployed since December it occurred to me that now is the time and Costa Rica is the place. I fly out of Denver on American Airlines Saturday, June 29th at 8 a.m., and after a 4 hour layover in Miami, will arrive that evening in San Jose, Costa Rica at 7 p.m. Someone will meet me there and take me to my host family in San Joaquin de Flores where I will stay for my 4 week school at the Don Quiote Institute. Meanwhile, it's make a list and checking it ten times to make sure I don't forget anything, but Harold is confident that I will -- forget something! I'll post again in a few days. Adios, Mimi

Got Meighms off to the airport at 5:00 am on Saturday! The flight was delayed from 8:00am to 9:50 am. Oh well -- less of a layover in Miami. Have a great time Mimi! We'll enjoy bombing around in...I mean - taking care of your car. Love you, Kitty

Mimi, Hay there!! Ken and I just stopped to make sure Harold wasn't having any parties. Doesn't look like it!! I have an email problem on my computer. Says I did something illegal! I may be in jail when you get home. The fountain party was great. Ken did a good job on the speech I wrote! Study hard. Love ya!!--Lynda & Ken
